From the airport to Paris city center

To get from the airport to the center of Paris you have a number of options. The most used international airport in Paris is Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), located at 25 kilometers northeast of Paris city center. The other is Orly Airport (ORY), which is located 13 km south of Paris center. Orly Airport is primarily serving domestic and European flights and a hub for budget airlines. The third one is Beauvais-Tillé Airport (BVA) and is mainly used by budget airlines. Beauvais-Tillé Airport is located 85 km north of Paris. First, choose the Paris airport you will fly into:

Charles de Gaulle Airport (25 km from Paris center)

Option 1: RER Train from Airport

The most easiest public transport to get from Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport to the city is the 'RER B Train'. Flights at Terminal 1 and 3 can take station 'Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 1' and for Terminal 2 you can take station 'Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2'. The trip between the airport and city center lasts 30 minutes. Stops in Paris city center are Gare du Nord, Châtelet - Les Halles (this station has a lot of connection options by metro), Saint Michel - Notre Dame and Luxembourg (see exact schedule). Option 2: Taxi from Charles de Gaulle Airport

A taxi from Charles de Gaulle Airport to the center of Paris will take approximately 30 to 50 minutes, depending on traffic conditions and the time of day. The 25 km journey will cost normally between 53 € (left bank) to 58 € (right bank). The price will be more expensive if you use the taxi during the evening or if you have a lot of suitcases to transport.

Orly Airport (13 km from Paris)

Option 1: Metro

Orly Airport has a new metro line 14, which can now get you to Paris city center from Orly Airport in 25 minutes. Metro line 14 will pass for example metro stops Bercy, Gare de Lyon, Châtelet - Les Halles (this stop is very central in the district Les Halles and has many options to change to another metro line) - Pyramides - Madeleine. Option 2: Taxi from Orly Airport

A taxi from Orly Airport to the center of Paris will take approximately 20 to 40 minutes. The 13 km journey will cost normally between 32 € (left bank) to 37 € (right bank) The price will be more expensive if you use the taxi in the evening or if you have a lot of suitcases to transport.

Beauvais-Tillé Airport (85 km from Paris)

Option 1: Bus transfer Beauvais-Tillé Airport

By far the best and cheapest option from Beauvais-Tillé Airport to the center of Paris is a shuttle bus to the north of Paris city center where you can continue your journey with the metro. The journey takes 75 minutes and run every 30 minutes. Buses align with flight schedules, ensuring availability for all arrivals and departures (more info schedules). Option 2: Train

The Beauvais SNCF station (5 km from the airport) is also connected by regional express train (“TER”) with the Paris Station 'Gare du Nord'. From the airport you will first have to take bus 6 to the train station. Please note that this option is more expensive and much longer than the direct airport bus.

Option 3: Taxi
