With over 15 million visitors each year, Disneyland Paris is Europe’s most popular theme park. To avoid a queue for a ride, you can use the Disney Premier Access system. Premier Access allows you to reserve a specific time for several popular rides. Another useful tip is the Single Rider Line. History of Disneyland Paris, France

The theme park’s construction began in August 1988. The construction took over 3.5 years and was completed in the spring of 1992. The theme park struggled in the first years after opening. This changed in 1995, when the rollercoaster Space Mountain opened. The popular rollercoaster led to an impressive boost in visitor numbers. Today, more than 15 million people visit Disneyland Paris every year. In 2002, Disneyland Paris was expanded with a second theme park, the Walt Disney Studios Park. This theme park is designed in the style of a movie studio with indoor and outdoor rides.

In Frontierland, you can visit the Wild West. The section’s most thrilling rides are Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Phanthomland. The Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a breathtaking rollercoaster that runs through a deserted gold mine. Phantomland is a thrilling dark ride that takes you past various rooms of an abandoned 18th-century home.

Adventureland is all about having exciting adventures. Pirates of the Caribbean and Indiana Jones are the most thrilling rides in this section of the park. Pirates of the Caribbean is an exhilarating dark water ride that takes you on a boat trip past a wide range of exciting pirate scenes. Indiana Jones is a stunning rollercoaster ride. Fun fact: Indiana Jones was the first ride in Disneyland Paris with a looping.

Fantasyland is dedicated to famous Disney characters. This section is especially fun for Disneyland’s younger guests. In Fantasyland, you can meet the Disney Princesses and Mickey Mouse. The best-known rides in Fantasyland are the Castle of Sleeping Beauty (based on the Neuschwanstein castle in Germany), the Flying Dumbo Elephants, and the spinning Teacups from Alice in Wonderland.

Discoveryland focuses on space and technology. The indoor rollercoaster Space Mountain is Discoveryland’s most popular ride. This thrilling rollercoaster in the dark takes you at high speed across the universe.
